SEPT. 28, 2019,  8am-5pm
"POWER OF SPORTS"

Why explore and celebrate Sports now?  Aren't we already immersed in sports through our families, our culture, our media?  And when so much sports news is negative and scandalous, why look there for inspiration?  Why is sports still so compelling to play as well as to watch?  Join Chautauqua in 2019 as we seek to discover the power of sports in our lives, our communities and our world. Explore these ideas and more...

As usual, Chautauqua speakers, performers, and exhibits will look at the theme through history, science, music, technology, art, psychology, the future, etc. - and maybe we'll even get a chance to join in and play...  September 28, 2019 will be a daylong celebration of the Power of Sports!
